Yahoo Is Coo-Coo

I would just like to point out that this picture of Elizabeth Olsen was on Yahoo under "worst dressed," yet on Teen Vogue under the Top 10 Best Dressed.  This is not at all the first time I have seen this happen. Hmmm, who should we trust here?  Personally, I think she looks cute and classy, Yahoo just has this Hollywood image in their minds of how they think girls should dress. They apparently don't understand that fashion should show off your creativity and should make you feel good about yourself.  Just because this outfit is not a "man propeller" (Thank you Leandra Medine) because it shows little skin, does not mean it isn't fashionable. You go Elizabeth Olsen.

Black + Brown

The black and brown combo has never looked this good! The black leather just brings this color combination to a whole new level. Although, my addiction to leather might make my opinion in this matter slightly biased. I just get enough of it, from leather skirts, leggings, dresses, jackets... I love it all! I will definitely be giving it a try soon, hopefully with the same success of these girls:

Navajo on the Go

Inspiration for today: Native American prints.  The shirt I wore yesterday got multiple comments, most of which involved the term native american.  I love the patterns though! Definitely a fall thing, with the usual deep reds and bright yellows and oranges, these prints can be worn on just about anything.  However, the boots have to be one of my favorites!  GET INSPIRED! Tootles.

Sevigny Style

I have been waiting for some relevant time to write a post on Chloe for quite some time now...but I've been unsuccessful. However the wait is just killing me, so here it goes! Ohh, and for those of you who don't know who she is: google it Chloe is an American actress, fashion designer, and model too. She is probably best known for her role in the movie Boys Don't Cry and in the HBO series Big Love. She is especially recognized for her quirky, cool style. On top of that, one of her latest collaborations fashion-wise was with Opening Ceremony! Once again, for absolutely no apparent reason, this post will be entirely dedicated to a few of my favorite Chloe Sevigny outfits, from a turquoise Proenza to cut-offs and a graphic tee.

Cargo Queens

I awoke to find that was too cold for a skirt today, which is what I've been wearing for the past two weeks.  Though disappointed,  I was so excited when I found my cargo pants (purchased last year)!  I love that they give a sort of structured, military look that I can pair with a loose fit tee or sweater.  It inspired today's post, military looks for fall! I wasn't even thinking about this trend for fall until today, and I'm definitely excited to start playing with it a little bit more.

Everybody was Chung-Fu fighting

I just LOVE putting a play on Alexa Chung's last name! Sue me.  My teen vogue with her face gracing the cover came in the mail today.  A lovely surprise when I got off the bus.  For this quicky post (I have loads of homework) I'm posting inspiration for fall from the woman herself.  Her outerwear is fantastic, and like Alexa, I too love baring my legs in fall.  I get looks from time to time, but you gotta do what you gotta do ay? Also, can we talk about that cape-like sweater dress in the last photo? Yeah.  I shall leave you to discuss its beauty.
