Crazy, Stupid, Obsession

Gosh it's been a while! I've been on vacation and internet-less this whole week, I feel like I've missed so much! However, with the rainy weather there was no way we could have a beach day earlier this week, so we saw movies! The manly men saw the new Planet of the Apes, while us women-folk saw the absolutely fantastic Crazy, Stupid Love. Needless to say I LOVED IT. Where to begin? First of all it reminded me how much I want to marry Ryan Gosling, so that was good. Second of all my aunts, mother, sister, and I were cackling so loud that it echoed through the empty theater. Ugh so funny!  The entire cast was at their best, and above I have some pictures of the premire, Ryan Gosling's in his fashion-forward role, and also Ryan and Emma's on-screen romance (he was a player and she totally tamed him!) Emma Stone: Casual Style

It was only about time that Emma Stone would be the subject of my post, simply because she is one of my favorite celebs. She's quirky, funny, and quite stylish...what's not to like? While I was on vacation, my September issue of Teen Vogue (Emma is on the cover) NEVER ARRIVED. While I wait 4 to 6 weeks for the issue to be mailed to me, I had to look for some Emma pictures to get me through what will seem like eternity before my favorite magazine arrives in my mailbox. Below are just a few of my favorite more casual looks. Perfect autumn/winter inspiration if you ask me!

Sunshine. Finally.

 When I woke up this morning and saw the cloudy grey sky, I was thinking about how depressing today's post would be. And then when it was began to rain, I was sure of it. I even began to dig through my closet for something grey to throw on, to match the weather and my mood. BUT, this afternoon has been so sunny; it really came as a surprise to me! So I hurried outside to take a picture, I figured these gold shoes would be able to pick up on the sunshine better than anything. Ohh by the way, it's only a henna tattoo!

Perfection in a Soft Shell

 For my mom's birthday, my family and I went out to eat at bar taco in Port Chester. Well, let me tell you, the food was fantastic! They served rather small portions, but not too small. After eating there I didn't feel stuffed beyond belief, nor starving for more food. It's usually difficult to find that perfect balance between the two, but not here!

Ohh, I almost forgot to mention the unique aspect of bar taco! See that dragonfly card there? Well, anytime you want to order more food for your table you just place the card in a holder along with your order card. The card can also be used whenever you need you waiter. The service is great too!

Virginia Beach Photo Diary 3

On one of my last days in Virginia I decided to go into town and check it out. Which means that I actually had to wear more than just a bathing suit (which was practically my set uniform until this point!) It was your typical beach town: ice cream and salt water taffy sold on every street along with huge stores selling all sorts of beachwear and touristy tees.

Today was my first full day back in New York, and it was simply miserable. It's rainy, cloudy, and the sun is just no where to be found. I miss everything about Virginia Beach! Falling asleep at the beach while the sun's rays shine down. Paddle boarding until the waves knocked me off and into the ocean. Late night swimming at the pool until the darkness scared us out. Drinking strawberry banana smoothies every day. And then I come home to this weather... lovely!
