After watching the "Our Deal" music video (enough times to make my parents go crazy), I just had to do a little more research on Chloe Moretz. Many of you remember her as Tom's wise-beyond-years younger sister in 500 Days of Summer (a.k.a. my favorite movie...ever) or Hit Girl in Kick Ass. She's an amazing actress, so it was beyond cool to see her in the music video too, and not just movies. After doing a little google-ing I found out that not only is she a big up-and-comer in the acting world, but she's a young fashionista as well. At red carpet events, she is frequently seen wearing all the big names, like Christian Dior, Chanel, and Stella McCartney. I'm hoping to see her on the cover of Teen Vogue ASAP! Here's a few of my favorite red carpet  and casual looks...

Bundled Up!

IT'S COLD HERE!  My heavy jacket is officially out of hiding, and at first, I wan't happy about it. However, that was until I saw these lovely ladies.  They show us that just because a jacket covers up that fantastically layered outfit you have on underneath, doesn't mean you can't look good!  So, up next on my shopping list: a winter jacket that is more exciting than my classic black.

Day and Night

I found this super cool music video a few days ago! Not only do I love the song, but the video itself is just as good! It's directed by Drew Barrymore, which I found really fascinating for some reason...Anyway, after watching the video I felt the need to start a fashion forward gang, for real just kidding!  

 

The hair, make up, accessories, it was ALL done just right! From the wing-eyed eyeliner, to the sky-high hair, I was instantly obsessed. Style wise, there were to different styles going on. One included the leather jackets, Doc Martens, and studded everything look (my favorite!). The other was more of a hip hop, fun colors, and light denim look. I WANT TO BE A NIGHT CREEPER. If you haven'y watched the video yet, then that last sentence makes no sense, and I sound crazy. So go watch it (a million times like I did)!

This is Part 2 of my Taylor Tomasi post, and for those of you who missed the first part, you can check it out right here.  I figured it's been long enough since you guys have seen her, and the first time for a few new readers! This post shows her darker-colored wardrobe, the complete opposite of the other Tomasi pictures. They serve as perfect inspiration for these chilly days ahead. Hooray for leather jackets and olive green outerwear...and leather everything for that matter! Despite her amazing way of accessorizing, her best accessory always ends up being her radiant red hair!

Show Some Skin

So maybe you've noticed the theme here.  It's girls going tightless! Showing the legs in fall weather!  I took that route today and though i was a little chilly, it felt necessary.  However, by the twentieth person to ask me "AREN"T YOU COLD?!" I did wish that I had worn something more covered up.  But hey, these ladies rock it, do they not?  There is something about tights that doesn't allow them to work with all dresses, it makes them feel stuffy and muted.  So as far as I'm concerned, if you ain't cold, who cares what people think? I am most definitely a skirt and dress type of girl, jeans make me feel constricted.  So for fall, something like a sweater dress will be my absolute go-to outfit.  Can't wait! Stay classy!

The Cat's Meow

 

As promised, the outfit post has arrived! We took major advantage of the first beautiful day of October and got our prints on.  We couldn't possibly be more anxious for the fall fashion that is just getting started! Breaking out our knee-high socks and shearling boots brought thrills beyond belief.  As mentioned many, many times before, fall is our favorite season.  Between the warm colors and cool air, it is the perfect time of year. For those of you living in places that aren't fortunate enough to experience this wonderful autumn, we highly reccomend visiting New York around this time of year.  The scenery is breath taking and we will be sure to post pictures of that once the leaves are fully changed. With September being our first month of junior year, things have been pretty hectic and free time used for posting is hard to come by.  However, we are finally gettinginto a routine, and you can count on daily posts again for sure!

To hold you over...

Chunky sweaters, overbearing scarves, tights, and JACKETS?! TRENCHES?! What are these things? Fall is officially here, and perfect timing because I'm ready for a shopping trip.  October is the start of my favorite three months and the fact that I have to wear layers just to go to sleep is getting my pretty excited for the chilly weather!  An outfit post is coming, so this was just to hold you over because we've been slacking in the post department. Yay for actually having lives this weekend!
